August 2025 Global Scrapbook Blog Hop

Thank you for joining us for this month’s blog hop. The theme is Monochromatic. What fun it was searching all my “stash” for yellow DSP and cardstock.

I used all the yellow cardstock I had available. Cut them into 1/2″ strips and laid them out in a pleasing pattern along with DSP 1/2″ strips.

For the DSP I used: Inked Botanicals,Thoughtful Journey, Full of Life, Beautiful Bokeh.

The embellished that were used are: Rainbow Adhesive Dots, Party Dots, Gold Textured Dots, and 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls.

I used Mini Alphabet Dies for the word SUMMER.

Stamp sets used were: Reindeer Memories and Just a Note.

The dies used were: Delightful Wishes, Just a Note, and Mixed Labels.

It is so much fun going through the designing process and coming up with a page to follow the theme. I love the process and the end product.

Scrapbook Global Blog Hop

July 17, 2025

Welcome to the monthly Blog Hop for July. This month’s theme is Travel. Perfect time for this theme, summer travels . I truly enjoyed creating this layout. I used a variety of new and retired Stampin’ Up! products.

Please be sure to scroll to the bottom of this page. There, you can view all the posts that were created for the theme Travel.

My scrapbook page is about going places. I used DSP from On the Go DSP packet as a map for the background. Cut a piece of Smoky Slate card stock at 5-1/2″ x 7-3/4″. Then scored at 2-5/8 to create a brochure. I used Just a Note stamp and dies to create a journal page and paper clips. I stamped Date__/__/__ , Going Places and Today marks and adventure from Tags to Go stamp set.

I then cut out images from the On the Go DSP. I also cut out images from the Take To The Skies DSP. I added them to the layout to create my page.

Global Scrapbook Blog Hop-May 2025

This months Blog Hop theme was chosen by Julia Quinn, and it was a fun one. The theme is to create a page using Ephemera. I chose to use Birthday Treats Mix & Match Ephemera Pack. I used Wildflower Birthday scrapbook 12″ x 12″ as my background. The lace frames were perfect as the photo mats. The birthday ephemera pieces create an added element of fun to accent to the page.

The balloons and candles were colored with Blender Pens. There is a journal section to document the details. The page includes a couple sentiments as well as 23-25 Dots embellishments. The final touch was to add Wink of Stella to the balloons, cupcake frosting and candle flames. I hope it makes you smile!

April Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop

We are ready for the April Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop. This month the challenge was to stamp your own DSP.

I found this to be exciting. I stamped 1/2 of a 12″ x 12″ white card stock with Stampin’ Up! Among the Swallows stamp set, using Old Olive ink. This made for a beautiful stamped DSP.

After I stamped the left side of white card stock with Old Olive ink, 2 times. I searched in my endless supply of older stamp sets for a nature type sentiment. I found a great sentiment that tied in with my theme. I found Beauty of the Season (retired). I stamped it in Old Olive and die cut it using Textured Notes dies. For the back ground paper I used Secret Garden Scrapbook card stock. I then cut a piece of Old Olive ribbon (retired) and set it on the stamped side and knotted it. Afterward I stamped on scrap pieces and fussy cut some flowers and birds to apply to the page. I raised the flowers and birds using dimensionals. I cut Evening Evergreen card stock to create layers under the photos. At which time I added some of the fussy cut birds randomly around the photo place holders.

Then, as a final touch, I added some embellishments that were birds, bees and dragon flies.

I personally feel this is my favorite page thus far.
