January’s Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop Theme is My Guilty Pleasure! Chosen by Sharon Dalton.
We were to create a page reflection one of our guilty pleasures. One of mine is reading! Last year I read 30 books, this did not account for the DNF (did not finish) books I just couldn’t finish.

My page is a 12″ x 12″ Pool Party cardstock from the Snowy Days Scrapbooking Workshop. The stripes are from a retired DSP pack. I used the For the Books Stamp Set from the new catalog. With the stamps from that set, I stamped the books on white cardstock and using Blender Pens, I colors each book. I fussy cut the books.
After that was complete, I cut out 4 black and white circles using the Deckled Circles, that are retiring. I will add pictures to the circles at a later date. Then stamped 2 sentiments on white cardstock, to grace the page.
Using Pool Party Ribbon, now retired, to go across the striped DSP and add interest. In Pool Party Ink, I stamped a few pairs of glasses to create a tone on tone affect.
For my titles, I typed it on my computer as I don’t have dies to create a smaller title that would fit. It is printed in black ink.
For the embellishments, I used Gold Textured Adhesive-Backed Dots, retired.
The paper clips are a non Stampin’ Up! product. The rest of the page is all Stampin’ Up! products.
This page was really fun to make. I hope you like it. Please visit the other Global Demonstrators pages to see what their Guilty Pleasures are by clicking on the names below. Thank you for following us!
