As part of the Scrapbooking Global design team we participate in a monthly blog hop and challenges. Anyone can join in if they’d like. We’d love to have you join us! Be sure to join the Scrapbooking Global – Stampin’ Up! Facebook Group so you will know when the sign up starts for the next blog hop. For my layout, I decided to create a layout for fall, being as we are nearing fall with all the colors arriving soon.

I used materials from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn to Remember Kit.

On the left layout: First I cut off 1/2″ on the top of the DSP. Then I cut the DSP at 6″ and marked on the right edge at 6″. Then I measured in 1″ from the top right side and ran a score line down to the mark at 6″. I did the same on the bottom up to the 6″ mark. I folded on the score lines. Then centered and glued the DSP to the base cardstock. After that I cut 8 strips of various DSP colors (from the kit) at various sizes (1/2″ and 3/4″). I glued them next to each other, overlapping some. Follow that I stamped various leaves in a variety of fall colors between the DSP fold and strips. Then I cut out a circle, approximately 3″, and stamped more leaves around the circle in fall colors. I stamped the sentiment on a scrap piece of cardstock and fussy cut that. I adhered the sentiment using dimensionals.

For the photo place holders I cut (2) Crushed Curry cardstock at 4 1/8″ x 6 1/8″ and (2) at 3 1/8″ x 4 1/8″. Then adhered them to the layout. I used blender pens to color 3 faux wood pieces from the Autumn to Remember Kit and adhered as desired. Then added the circle to overlap the DSP, in the center, with dimensionals. Finally I added 5 coordinating embellishments and used Wink of Stella on the faux wood pieces.

On the right layout: I did the same steps with the DSP sheet and strips. For this page I made a pocket using the Pocket Thoughts Dies, medium die, and adhered it with Tear N Tape. I took the journal piece from the kit and put it in the pocket. I used the sticker sentiment from the kit as well mounting it on Crushed Curry cardstock with dimensionals and then onto the 3″ circle stamped with leaves. Using dimensionals I centered the circle to overlap both sides. Using Crushed Curry cardstock I cut (3) 3 1/8″ squares for photo place holders and (1) 4 1/8″ square and adhered them as desired. Then colored 3 faux wood pieces from the kit and placed as desired. Lastly I added 5 embellishments to the page. And to make the faux wood pieces more fun looking I used Wink of Stella.
